My overall experience at Apalachee is great! Our school does not offer many clubs initially, but more and more clubs and activities are created for students to participate in recent years, like the Esport Club, Anime Club, and others. Compare to some of the bigger schools, Apalachee definitely lacks some resources. Our AP courses are plenty, but not enough. However, the administrators really try their best to incorporate different AP courses for the students.

Apalachee high school is one of a kind and in most aspects, that is a great thing. As a student-athlete, I was very involved in sports and tried to be apart of as many clubs as possible. As a school, resources are limited to help students succeed in these fields such as funds. We have always thrived in the classroom when students were comfortable with their placements. One of the biggest issues with the school is the fact that many students are placed in classrooms requiring more skill and effort then what that student is ready for or able to put forth. Often times, many students are forced into academic classes higher then what they are prepared for or wanting to be apart of. Many students are put into AP classes when they don't want to be placed in such an environment. Students as a whole are not properly informed of options with paths that can be taken and how they will be achieved.
Apalachee High School is quite the spectacle. The teachers and administrators care about the students and the knowledge that they're obtaining. The academics are quite easy when compared to schools in other counties (i.e. Gwinnett County) and so are the standards to graduate. As far as diversity goes, there is some, but nothing that is too prominent. There are also a vast amount of clubs offered which gives students the opportunity to do or achieve things after school.
