Anza Valley Christian School Reviews
At the time I attended, the school used Bob Jones curriculum, which is very college minded. However, they have since switched to a program called Paces, which are individual packets you work on at your own speed. There is a facilitator and not teacher in the classroom. Basically the school is a one-room schoolhouse with various ages and grades.
The school has two facilitators and parent volunteers. There is a strict dress code and there are strict behavior codes. There are no counselors.
There are no athletics, though they do have physical education a few times per week run by parent volunteers. Some of the activities have included golf and archery. Athletics, sports and fitness are not a main concern of this school. Many students have left AVCS to attend the local elementary, middle and high schools due to the lack of sport programs.
