Antonito High School is your average low-income based high school. Located in a poor community, students at Antonito High School are unaware of the opportunity available outside of the small area. As a graduate of Antonito High School. I speak from first hand experience when I say that students who graduate from such poor communities are at a huge disadvantage after high school. With such a small ammount of resources it is hard to prepare a student for the real world. Graduating from AHS means hardly anyone will believe you can reach your goals. It means you are on your own. Although it may seem I speak badly of the high school, let it be known that I am proud to have graduated from AHS because I have the chance to make a better name for the school. I have a chance to prove that even with the least amount of resources, any student can achieve whatever it is they set out to do. I stand for all students who never received the best education possible.

Everything about these were great and fun opportunities
At my school, I wouldn't say that there is a whole lot of student involvemnet. However, there are a few students. There isn't a lot of peer pressure where I attend school because it is a small high school and peer pressure is something that doesn't go unnoticed. Where I go to school, there are mostly Hispanic/Latino students and everyone that comes to our school gets a warm welcome. Everyone in our school is accepted for the most part.
