The best, most comprehensive Christian school in the mid-atlantic. There is no other school in the region that can offer what AACS offers and keep the personal, Christ-centered culture as the focal point. I can recall many teachers who truly wanted to know who I was and how I was doing throughout my years at AACS. My coaches were top-notch and the athletic competition was serious. I was not a fine arts kid but was always so impressed by the level of talent and commitment that the musicals, choirs, and plays contained in them. I love this place. It made me ready for college and for life. I can honestly say that I learned how to think and write and debate here more than any other schools I attended (including college and grad school). All For Him! Go AACS Eagles.

I have two children at AACS and I'm proud to say that enrolling them there was one of the beat decisions I've ever made! The academics are excellent and the staff are so caring and personable! I love the small setting and the individualized attention (academic and personal) that my children receive, all while remaining Christ-centered. Happy to be a member of the AACS family as it's a perfect for for my children!
When it comes to a private school standpoint, your bang for your buck here simply isn't worth it. I graduated from here in 2011 and it seems like since then not much has changed. Well actually, something has changed. They have consistently raised the cost of tuition. Sports are average (but compared to other local private schools not great) facilities are lackluster and seemed thrown together without thought. Redeeming qualities are the Music department which has great teachers and support. This school also has had a huge problem with diversity, which has been consistently failed to be addressed. Students also tend to be very cliquey and not accepting of newcomers, while faculty are commanded to push faith aspects over sound teaching. I would highly recommend Archbishop Spalding or Mt. Saint Joe over this.
