It was a typical high school experience, which was neither bad nor stellar. The classes offered were good, but the pressure to have students take so many AP classes was stressful and hurt some students in the long run. Also, the diversity in AP classes was not good, with Hispanic students continuously underrepresented. The teachers need better background checks, especially concerning mental stability. School spirit is pretty high among the students, but better coordination on the part of ASB would make events run smoother. Personally, I never felt completely safe on campus, even with the addition of officers on campus after a threat was reported that the students were not even made aware of until later in the day. The outdoor campus makes it dirty and not great to be at when the weather is anything less than clear and cool. The theater program was my best experience and the main reason I stayed, though it needs more funding. Overall, you could get this experience most anywhere.

My experience at Ann Sobrato High School will definitely lead me to be a successful person in the future. The school aims to ensure all of its students are obtaining the knowledge they need to be successful in the future. I have had many enjoyable experiences, whether its been in the Sobrato Marching band, or the band program alone. Additionally, the school welcomes all to learn, and thrive. Sobrato students excel on the simple acronym GREAT: Gritty , responsible, engaged, accountable, and thoughtful of others. This acronym helped to define the elements of a successful classroom environment. These type of topics were also discussed in our advisory classes provided at Sobrato. This class helped to further ensure my college readiness, and informed everyone about what they need to do to be successful in school, college, and even mental health. Overall, my experience with Ann Sobrato High School has been successful , fun, insightful, and most importantly GREAT.
I am very fortunate to have been enrolled in Ann Sobrato High School. The school has plentiful resources to ensure students learn subjects at hand. I personally have been very successful because of the school. Teachers teach the subjects well to their students and classes have a great passing rate. The school is a safe environment for all students. Fights are very rare, and when they do occur, they are broken up swiftly. The school has many different clubs students can join, all of which contribute to the excellent school community. The students are well-moraled people who treat each other with respect. All in all, Sobrato is an excellent high school students prepared to pursue higher education and beyond.
