I think that Angleton High School is a great place that adjusts to the needs of the students and has a place for everyone to feel at home in its many differing environments for different people. Although there is some noticeable favoritism, it seems practically inevitable and the administration is very flexible and necessary when they need to be. I think they do a great job acknowledging students in wide categories and they offer many organizations for everyone. Some teachers are not the best qualified to be teachers but they are overshadowed by those who are. For example, my chemistry teacher is one I admire for her passion for her subject and her desire to prepare us for college. She is blunt in the best way possible and is capable of making the most challenging class I’ve ever taken full of laughter and fun - she’s one to remember.
I loved everything about Angleton High School. I played varsity volleyball and softball, I was involved in a lot of clubs, and really lived my high school life to the fullest. One thing I would change would probably be how much the Booster Club spends on football. All of the other sports kind of get overlooked and the Art department hardly gets anything. But other than that, everyone seems to get along pretty well, it's a really good school.
