This school has poor teaching skills at least half of the staff of this school do not know what they are doing. Before COVID-19, I had been having issues that the teachers keep counting my daughter absent from class, but she will be there in the classroom. I called, went up to school, & letting teachers know my daughter is there as the same problem continued.

I can see why students sometimes drop out be of the frustration of school. If I could, I would withdraw my daughter from this unorganized school and place her in a better & caring school. But this is the only high school in the city besides the education center.

This school has very little opportunities, support, or academic merit to support students and their families interested in pursuing an effective and impactful future education. As a student, I struggled to manage college applications with an incompetent counseling staff, was completely academically independent due to the lack of serious teaching by faculty, and rarely found anything to do outside of the overfunded school athletics. It is the picturesque jocky, under-prepared school that is now trying to tweak its numbers to seem "college-ready" while it suffers to genuinely achieve those results.
Andrews High school is a ver good school, I have enjoyed my time there. The teachers are so helpful and understanding. The school can be strict on policy’s but in order to run a school well there has to be rules. I think that this school will be remembered by many for all great things. The sports teams and academics really do succeed and perform at a high level. I would recommend AHS as a great high school to go to learn, have fun, create memories, and so much more.
