Andress High School may not seem like much at the first glance but after going there for 4 years I can tell you that I wouldn't have wanted to go to any other school. Andress has amazing teachers that help to work with each and every student. The teachers are fun and outgoing and no how to handle any situation. Academics at Andress have there ups and downs but overall I had the best educational experience. Not only are academics highly encouraged so are sports and fine arts. We have one of the best football team, cheerleaders, dancer, basketball players, baseball players, track runners, and many more. The only thing that I would change is the school spirt at our school! Students need to be more excited to be where they are in life.

I love the school I got a lot of help from every teacher I've had. I got close to 2 teachers in that school and I've gone to them for help with other classes. Ive gotten along with everyone teacher in the school. Never had a problem always helped me with any problem whether it was any of my classes or problems at home. They helped me go to CCTE to start on my future career and get ahead and get my certifications to start as a veterinarian at clinics. My counselors have always helped me with getting my schedule to the way I want it. Overall my 3 yrs Ive been there have been really great!
Andress is known to have such a bad reputation but it's not bad at all. I had very knowledgeable teachers that helped me be successful even in areas i was weak in. I had a very fun and amazing experience with the soccer program. The girls were very nice and welcoming. The coach cares about each and everyone of us by trying to get us where we want to be. All of their sports were excellent and always competitive in the district. If I could change one thing about this school, it would be all the construction that was going on my senior year. It wasn't very pleasant to go around in such a tight area where large numbers of students pass by all of the time. Also, if the construction was done earlier I would of enjoyed it and saw how the school looked with everything remodeled.
