There are pros and cons to most things but I would not go back to Anchorage Christian Schools if I had the choice. I had a couple of my greatest teachers at that school who impacted my life for the better, but the school itself made it a difficult season in my own life. A large portion of their leadership put off a "too good for you" front. If you were not a sports star, you weren't really worth a second thought. So in the relational aspect, ACS was not wonderful. Their academics though, I believe, were very beneficial. The majority of their teachers loved what they taught and taught well; making sure we understood what we were discussing.

I have been at Anchorage Christian Schools basically for my entire life. I was enrolled from the 2nd grade until now. I am about to graduate from ACS, and it has been a phenomenal time. The thing I enjoyed most about ACS would be the environment and the teachers. Being a smaller school and a smaller class, the teachers had more time to be with individuals. I would say my teachers have shaped who I have become, and have been great mentors throughout my life. Whether that was in sports, or my daily life. I have also had spiritual mentors as well, showing me Christ in their daily actions and being a good role model for Christ.
Provides an excellent education within a safe and loving Christian environment. Smaller classes allows students to receive much more personal attention and help in their studies. The staff is very welcoming and open to listening to students questions. Students in each class are tight knit and very friendly with each other. The coaches are some of the best in the state and are sure to motivate their players to improve in athletics and in their classes. This school is also willing to give any financial aid and scholarships they can. Classes are orderly and most students are well behaved and excel in classes.
