Anaverde Hills Reviews

As a parent of a rather usually large family I have had the pleasure of having children in every grade level at Anaverde Hills School at one point or another. Three of my daughters graduated and four of my sons currently attend. A few of my kids endured bouts of sporadic bullying with little to no repercussions over the years. Dr. Rossall is very proactive and supportive of parents, teachers and students, addressing each need with professionalism, empathy and dignity.

The PTSA is great and really pushes for parental involvement. They have brought a fresh fun feel and lots of energy to the campus.

The teachers and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The only complaint I have is the upper grades seem to lack academically in comparison to traditional Jr. High Schools and AHS does not offer choice electives. However, the technology used is advanced and the school resides within a desirable community where safety is key.

Anaverde Hills is a good school overall. The teachers are nice and care about the students education. The food is not very good i must say. They do have free lunch if you don’t have a high salary. I think anaverde is only a good school for elementary because their middle school doesn’t really give a middle school opportunity and it doesn’t have any extra classes. The school is very small for a k-8 school. They have sports and clubs usually for 6th grade and up. The basketball team is good, but volleyball is alright. You can also start your own club and the school is supportive and open to your ideas.
