One of the most impactful things that stood out for me while attending Anaheim high school was the culture. Between the club activities and the diverse races within the school, there was something for everyone. School events united the community and even faculty would participate in pep rallies and fun activities. when it comes to college readiness I really wished our school would have prepared the seniors more. There were opportunities for college to stop by and talk to us about their schools and what it means to be a college freshman but many people were still excluded and not told about these events. The majority of Anaheim High School is made up of Hispanics and Latin student, so there needs to be a perspective of their culture and education and there needs to be a connection between them so people will be more interested and likely to attend college after High School.

Something I really like about Anaheim High School is that it is so diverse and open. I love that everyone works together in the school to organize student lead events. I also like that students are so school spirited other than at football games. They also support each other in many things such as dance performances and band competitions. As for our administration, I like that they are supportive. They push us to do our best each and every day and try to continuously motivate us to go to college. They also always make efforts to keep us informed about scholarships and new opportunities that benefit us. Our teachers are also very supportive. Many stay after school to help their students out with anything they might be struggling with which is always great.
Be part of the extracurricular activities, clubs, etc. Get involved! I recommend joining National Honors Society, BROS and RSVP. Stay away from Spanish Club. CROWN is similar to BROS. Student's are friendly, don't be intemidated.
