Amphitheater High School is an institution primed on involvement with a considerable amount of activities, clubs, and sports to do. Its diverse ethnic body of students is a key contributor, as well as its facilities that appeal students to do better, great libraries, modern gyms, and sized labs. It is a well maintained institution with security checking who comes in and out but without giving the feeling of entering a prison. Academics is average as it is a byproduct of teachers who seem mildly motivated, due to low salary. Amphitheater High School has potential but due to misplacement of funds it receives an average grade, more money should be going to teachers to incentivize excellent teaching!

Amphitheater High School is extremely diverse. Everywhere I look I see a student from a foreign country or just a different ethnicity. For the years that I have attended Amphitheater High School I have learned about multiple places around the world by just simply chatting with my fellow students. I love seeing how different and unique everyone at Amphi is. It's as if there are no copycat students, only originals. The diversity helped me become comfortable at my school. I didn't feel alienated, I didn't feel like an outcast, I wasn't afraid to be myself. One thing that I do wish to see improve at my school is the food. The food doesn't appeal to me, I am constantly leaving campus to grab something decent to eat. I personally have only ate my school's free lunch about four times. I base my judgment on the food after those experiences. Overall Amphitheater High School is a fantastic public school for all students!
I like the support and offered assistance I got from my teachers and administration. Most of the teachers jumped to help me at any time when needed it and the counselors sounded very interested and caring about my education and desire to go to college. Everybody supports everybody and that is what makes Amphi so great. I do not think anything necessarily needs to be improved dramatically. Besides the sports, which can have their moments, the school in my opinion, is a pretty solid school. It has the AVID program which is a program designed to help students attend college. It has helped me tremendously with getting everything I need for college done such as FAFSA and applying for colleges and scholarships, etc. Amphi also offers the Cambridge program which offers rigorous classes that help prepare the student for college.
