Amherst Middle School Reviews

1 review
Caring teachers, fun and encouraging community. Most kids are privileged & will complain a lot, but the school is very clean, safe, with helpful staff! The downsides in this school are that it's hard to get into Honors in 8th grade, and the diversity is bad. Everyone is white, those who aren't stick together, although everyone is nice to each other. Little to no bullying. Lunch is okay, there's not much of a variety for vegetarians & kosher eating people, because you'll get stuck with a PB&J sandwich every day. Drugs are very prevelant, mainly in the HS but it carries on to the middle school. This review makes Amherst seem bad, but it's truthfully one of the best schools in WNY. This just covers it all.
