I have been around boarding schools for over a decade and I am excited to be around a truly inspiring and creative group of teachers and students! They make me a better person everyday. Then, to be immersed in the cultural landscape of LA inspiration is literally around every corner. I wish I could go to high school again!

AUP is a school that I cherish a lot, not because of the school itself but because of the community. My experience has been a rollercoaster. AUP is still in its developing years where as of right now all they are doing is trying to find structure, consistency, and a way to create a brand for themselves. However, the idea that the school administration and board members try to find a solution to these things they are in search for has been a complete failure. Not only has it become detrimental to the school itself but to those who are sheltered in it. My experience has been a decent one because I have made it one for myself, but until the school becomes an environment that isn't such power and money hungry, I would not recommend it to anyone just yet. If the school figures out what they are aiming for as an institution and find people who care and are willing to stay for the long run, that's when they will thrive and I hope to see this happen shortly.
AUP is a great boarding preparatory school located right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Top notch academics and students get to have a cultural experience like no other. Los Angeles is part of the experience!
