American leadership aceademy is actually one of the friendliest schools I've been too. On my first day people greeted me and tried to be my friend. The atmosphere is really nice, the teachers are actually dedicated to helping the students learn, and the administration is always doing what they can to improve the school. Students may not like dressing up in uniform, but it's really not that big of a deal once you get used to it. Their are a variety of sports, including golf, swim team, wrestling, tennis, football, soccer, track, volleyball, etc. ALA has a good selection of clubs as well, like fashion club, chess club, reading club, cyber patriot, robotics and more. I would definitely recommend giving ALA a try. You won't regret it!

American Leadership Academy is a place where students can all connect together. The environment is very welcoming and full of opportunities. I was astonished when I saw football players eating and talking with Robotics Club members when I first came to this school. Everyone strives to be on the Ballroom teams. Many football, soccer, and baseball/softball players are on one of the Ballroom teams. Though we have to wear uniforms, I feel like that takes away from any "competition" between students. Here at ALA everyone is on the same level. With a uniform, there are still ways you can express yourself. The teachers are so very helpful. They care about you and your grades and don't want to see you fail. Many teachers will post their tutoring schedules and will often make time for one on one communication with you. Our kitchen staff is truly amazing. They hand make all of our food! They get to school so early in the morning to start cooking and getting everything ready.
I have been attending American Leadership Academy since seventh grade. I am currently a sophomore in high school and I have loved my experience so far. ALA is just a school that welcomes everyone into their ALA family. Every teacher there just respects all students and believes in each and everyone one of us. Having the opportunity to be involved with sports is amazing! I am currently part of the spirit line family and I just absolutely love it. Every time I head to practice, I feel like I grow as a dancer and as a student. ALA gives so many amazing and wonderful opportunities to all students. ALA is just an amazing school and I can't wait for the next few years.
