I’ve had an amazing experience at American Heritage! The school provides a challenging curriculum that prepares students for the rigor of college academics ; there are many different classes and several academic programs which allow students to explore possible interests and find out what we enjoy. Although classes can be very difficult at times and the workload is heavy, the teachers here are very caring and are always willing to give additional help to you after school. The sports and fine arts programs offer many different opportunities for students to improve themselves outside of academics. The shows and plays of the theater department are spectacular, and although there is not yet a proper theater, the size of the black box is sufficient and the set design is amazing.

American Heritage has exceeded our expectations! The time and concern that middle school teachers give their students is incredible. My son did quite well in public school however he was one fish in a extremely large pond. Once he started school at American Heritage he was identified by several of his teachers as an honors student and his trajectory changed. They challenged and stretched him both academically and as an individual. They saw what he was capable of and they took the time to draw him out. His test scores allowed him to be a part of the Duke Tip Scholarship program and he received multiple awards throughout the year. The family at American Heritage continue to inspire him in all his endeavors. They are treasured names in our household! I feared middle school because of all the stories you hear but because of Heritage it has been some of the best times in his life. His future is bright and we are so grateful for the opportunities that Heritage continues to provide.
This year is my daughter's third year at American Heritage Boca Delray. She began in third grade, and I cannot imagine her at any other school. Every part of her has flourished here. The teachers are always there to challenge her academically while arming her with the right tools to excel. The school's culture is inclusive and welcoming. My daughter has been able to do all kinds of extracurricular activities that explore every interest she can imagine. (she has been involved in drama, FLL robotic competition, tv production, and cheerleading.) Every day I see her confidence soaring and I know it is because she is surrounded by amazing educators that build her up. I cannot wait until my youngest (two-year-old) begins school here when she turns three!
