Alpert Family Aleph Bet Jewish Day School Reviews

2 reviews
As a parent I would strongly recommend this school as a high-quality, affordable private school option. I’ve had two kids go through Aleph Bet. Small classes and academic excellence were a must and they delivered. My older boy is thriving in college, while my younger is well-prepared for middle school, thanks to the solid grounding they received.

While the school is grounded in Jewish values, I didn’t experience it as a “religious” school. Hebrew language skills helped round out the educational experience, and the “religious” aspects never overwhelmed the academics. The school community openly embraced Jewish, non-Jewish and interfaith families. All came away richer for the experience.

The school has its challenges: Small classes can be a little too small for some. On the flip side, this frees up teachers to tailor lessons and to give special attention where needed. Most of all, Aleph Bet is a warm place, nurturing to children and families. Worth considering.

Our son is going into fifth grade and he is truly his best self because of Aleph Bet. We have seen his confidence grow as he completes each grade. We love the family atmosphere and being apart of the school community.
