The nurse did the best she could, it was a very large school. She would call parents if need be, but she tried to keep kids from going home and tried making them feel better. The security was good, everyone knew the police officers and they often walked around.

The school mainly had in-house sports, so it wasn't really taken that seriously. There were many clubs and things for students to join if they were interested sometimes it was just hard to get the word out to everyone.
There were only in-house sports, our school didn't have any fields or anything. We used the gym for most sport games, and used out park lot/schoolyard as a track and kickball field
