Middle school in itself is difficult as kids are transitioning into a new stage of life and discovering themselves. At Almeria, the general school culture was that of low expectations and students with attitude problems. There were various fights and students ditching school; however, Almeria’s staff was impeccable. The teachers cared for their students and, in class, students felt safe and interested in learning. In my experience, the faculty of Almeria showed a genuine love for teaching and this reflected in their attitudes toward the students. Academically these teachers were average, but they knew how to motivate and inspire. All other aspects of the school such as extracurricular opportunities and sports remained relatively average.

It was a great experience academically with the staff but there were fights and problems with inappropriate students who didnt want to learn.
As I said before there were bullies. Students always tried to be "cooler" than each other.
