What I enjoyed about Gertz-Ressler High School is that the AP classes offered are of my interest and the teachers are committed to helping the students. The after school staff are all very friendly and helpful people. The administration is also very dedicated to helping the students succeed in their tests and classes. Although what I did dislike about Gertz-Ressler High School was that it was very lacking in the music programs and they simply were assigned for the After-School program to take care of. Additionally, many of the After School activities are poorly funded and the diversity of the clubs are consistently scarce.

The teachers are very organized, the staff is very friendly and all the teachers try to help the students if they want help. They also offer some free PSAT class and college courses that can be taken on Wednesdays. The reason I'd not give it a 5 star is because of space and lack of participation in the students. There are a lot of programs and clubs offered to us, but not many enter into them. As conclusion sometimes they cut them loose and later on the kids complain about having a small variety. The graduation rate in the class of 2019 was 100%. Really good school overall, but wished the students had more school spirit.
Gertz Ressler is a very good school. The teachers really want the students to graduate and pursue a higher education in their interest. The school is really clean and organized; it is rare to see trash on the hallways. With the low student to teacher ratio, students build a strong relationship with the teachers and other faculty. The events are some what lack luster but it is made up by having fun and engaging activities during lunch and nutrition.
