Allentown Central Catholic is the best private school in the area - hands down. Academics are second to none, sports and extracurricular activities give the opportunity to be involved to all students. But the real reason to choose ACCHS, they are truly a Catholic School first teaching students to live as God intended them to live with compassion and love of neighbor and self. Check out their SAT scores too - higher than any public school in the valley (and most private schools)!
Allentown Central Catholic High School is like a second home to me. I’ve made amazing memories and friends while being here. They also challenge me in all of my academics so that I’m never bored and if I need help, I’m always able to find a teacher who can help because they all care! It gave me a place to calm down when I’m stressed like the chapel. The food is also A-MAZING, and as a bonus we probably have the best cookies in the valley! I love my school and I’m proud to call myself a Vikette!
Central Catholic markets itself as a family. As a prospective freshman, I worried this was just a marketing scheme. However, 3 years later, I can honestly describe my school as a family. The teachers, staff, administration, even down the the lunch ladies, are the kindest, most caring people around. The academics are rigorous, and not for the faint of heart, but overall, I feel completely prepared for college. Even though I’m not Catholic, I feel welcomed by all in my school. The clubs and activities, from the sports to the arts and everywhere in between, are phenomenal. Overall, if you’re looking for a loving, family atmosphere with rigorous academics, Central is the place for you.
