As a proud Allen High school alum, I rate my high school experience overall as an 8! I am blessed to attend a school where the city is ranked number one in Texas and gives its students the resources they need to be successful. Some of my best experiences included the student to teacher ratio, the academics, and the activities I could be involved in. I believe the teachers and academics prepared me for the challenges I have encountered in college. Whether its getting work done, building relationships, or goal setting my high school experience empowered me through exposure and real life examples. After attending a large high school, it led me to make the decision to go to a smaller university.

Allen High School is a great school that offers immense opportunities for students. Whether it be sports, fine arts, culinary or medical pursuits, it is apparent that Allen puts and has put a lot of energy into providing world class resources in their institution. There are tons of classes to choose from, a lot of diversity among classmates and staff, various good quality options at the cafeteria, school spirit, a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, flexibility with scheduling, and several great teachers that make academics especially enjoyable. I feel very fortunate to have attended High School and would definitely recommend it!
My experience at Allen High School was very similar to a first time student in college. The school is very large, which allows for a large population of students along with a wide variety of clubs and organizations to be involved in. The school consists of a diversity of students and faculty members that are friendly and accepting of one another. The school is broken down based on last name, creating a more pleasurable experience for a student when they are attempting to meet with a counselor/academic adviser. Allen High School offers many amazing sports programs, along with the opportunity to use your academic/athletic ability to your advantage!
