Nease High School has always not only made me feel like I can learn in a safe fun environment but given me a chance to grow. It’s been a great experience to be a student here, the teachers are awesome! Our town is always growing and adding new students to the school, it’s nice that there are so many ways to teach us to welcome these students. The staff always Offer extra help to make sure we are getting our best grades. The campus is always clean and secure.

My experience at Nease High School was a great one. I was zoned for another high school in St. Johns County, though I chose Nease because of past academic record. Nease's academics are top notch and arguably the best in St. Johns County. I was part of the Digitial Design academy and thoroughly enjoyed it. I learned a lot about design and Adobe programs. The academic staff there was tremendous and they were always there for the student. We also had great athletics, activities, and after-school programs. Overall, it was a great experience and I loved going to Nease. I would highly recommend going here!
Nease is exceptional at academics but lacks in areas of emotional support, teaming with amazing opportunities such as IB, AP, and honors classes. I attended both honors and AP classes and can confidently say that my school offered every resource and opportunity for me to excel. While my school is amazing and I enjoyed attending, I felt there could've been more focus on minority groups. Our school is predominantly white kids in the upper class, I felt put out as a Hispanic person. There is a Latinx club at my school, but it requires members to have two years of Spanish, ignoring native Spanish speakers. My school has also failed to support minorities when it comes to bullying. As president of our schools GSA, I was appalled to see the lack of support from the staff. Our club has faced copious amounts of discrimination, yet the school has done nothing to solve this problem, saying we don't have enough "evidence." In conclusion, I like my school but there is room for improvement.
