My experience at Nease High School was a great one. I was zoned for another high school in St. Johns County, though I chose Nease because of past academic record. Nease's academics are top notch and arguably the best in St. Johns County. I was part of the Digitial Design academy and thoroughly enjoyed it. I learned a lot about design and Adobe programs. The academic staff there was tremendous and they were always there for the student. We also had great athletics, activities, and after-school programs. Overall, it was a great experience and I loved going to Nease. I would highly recommend going here!

Nease High School is one of the best schools in St. John's County, FL. With a wide array of sports and clubs to choose from, it's impossible to not get involved. The school spirit is off the charts! The only negative aspects of it are that the rules are a little ridiculous sometimes (no tank tops at an outdoor school in the 90 degree Florida weather!) and that the school is pretty crowded. However, this crowd has allowed for the expansion of the school itself, including a new two-story library and more parking areas and practice fields, which also gives the school a minor architectural update from it's 80s era structure. After attending Nease for four years, I can honestly say that there is no other high school in Florida I would have rather attended.
Whenever a typical child pictures a high school experience they immediately think of: High School Musical. Although no high school can perfectly incapsulate the dancing and singing dynamic of the movie, I believe that Nease High School has the spirit and camaraderie seen. In my experience, the students, teachers, and faculty are all excellent. They really do all work together to formulate a positive environment that will solely benefit the needs of the students, pertaining to educational benefits, social interaction, and life lessons. Of course, I am sure the entirety of students who buy school lunches would love to see better food, yet given budgeting and demands, I know Nease does its best to supply healthy and tasty options for lunch. As a graduating senior, I could not have asked for a better high school experience. Allen D. Nease High School is a fantastic school who tries its best! What more can you ask for?
