I feel very much prepared for college and think this is the best school for students who want to get advanced in their studies before going to university. This also gives students a sense of responsibility and independence that better prepares us maturity wise. I am proud of attending this school all four years and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about furthering their education and want an amazing future. The teachers are great here and I have a deep appreciation for everything they do and for their passion in teaching considering that I want to be a teacher too. The food is better than normal school and you even get college credits after graduating! This is an amazing school that helps you grow in many ways.

AECHS (Alief Early College High School) has a splendid College Readiness Prep program. Not only do they provide the opportunity to graduate high school with an associates’ degree, but it offers students a handsome amount of credit hours. There are a multitude of resources available for the students via books, teachers, professors, and of course the other staff and faculty who are always ready to lend a helping hand. Granted, there are certain things that AECHS lacks, such as sports or the arts in favor for an all STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) base school. However, there are club activities that substitutes in those places.
AECHS is a small school compared to others in Houston but because of this, we do have the opportunity to engage in a more family based manor. It’s a magnificent school that allows anyone to experience the true nature of being a college student, while keeping the traditional ways of being in high school.
I sincerly love my school because it's family oriented. Everyone is nice and accepting. The teachers have been wonderful with helping me settle into school. Safety is always ensured at all times. My school has a variety of clubs and organizations for everyone. Some of them are music club, volleyball club, NHS (National Honor Society), SNHS (Science National Honor Society), etc.
Although the work may be consuming, the teachers teach in a way that sudents can comprehend. My school has creative instructors.
