I love the community and family at Algona High. I enjoy the teachers, the students, and the overall atmosphere at this high school. The only thing I can think of improving is having better options to appeal to different learners; for example, learning more note-based as opposed to group-based projects. In the end, I would highly recommend Algona High for any aspiring student.

I love my school! Algona is the best place to be. My teachers care about me, challenge me, and want me to succeed. I feel like I am being prepared for colleges in my wide variety of class choices. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
I learned a lot about how to use a computer and how to write college papers. My school prepared me for college with the college comp course. We also got to use chrome books which were a big help. Algona high school also prepared me by letting me take dual credit courses through Iowa lakes community college for free.
