The classes are based on a tracking scale, so stellar students are pushed to do their best. Unfortunatley, if a student progressed from poor to strong in academics it is likely they will be stuck in lower-level courses for the duration of middle school. There is an average amount of student on student bullying, which contrary to school policy, and bully reports are never handled. The students generally behave well in class, with the occasional bad class. There are no rules protecting teachers from students, and teachers are often reprimanded for being bullied by students. The school also faces crippling financial struggles, causing administration to repurpose closets and trailers as classrooms. Parents are involved in many fundraisers and PTA. As far as food is concered we are on the Obama meal plan. There are intermuals some years, but due to poor managment and low funds are often canceled.

I’m a former student and it’s good overall. Volunteers are are a bit lacking though. Many people you’ll see are from popular schools in the area
