Dreyfoos has a spot for every type of student. Of course, being in the name, a primary focus is on the arts. If you like making films, public speaking, and journalism, audition for Communications. If you like sculpting and drawing, audition for visual. If you like photography and printmaking audition for Digital. If you like dancing audition for dancing. The school also has an excellent theater program and a band program that consistently performs at the nationally renowned Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Overall, the school experience is quite solid. In terms of academics, Dreyfoos offers a huge array of AP classes as well as AICE classes for students looking to challenge themselves. Every year, the school sends dozens of kids to the nations top colleges like Cornell, Yale, Columbia, and Harvard

This school has given me so many good memories. Dreyfoos is a huge school and the teachers are super fun and loving. You will make so many friends and so many connections, keep in contact with your favorite teachers because they will help you out as much as they can in the future! I really miss Dreyfoos and the whole atmosphere of the school spirit. This school is completely different from other public schools. It was an honor to graduate from this school. Take advantage of your resources while you can, because this school has ALL of the resources and connections. :)
DSOA is a wonderful School, unlike any other. It is a place filled with incredibly talented students being taught by gifted instructors. The guidance department and front office is always there, going above and beyond to help each student. It is a very special place!
