There are many teachers here who care about your education. Especially in the History department. The school has recently updated its facilities, allowing for growth in academics, arts, and athletics. The community is very invested in the high school, which helps support the school in general. There are many college courses offered that you can take at the school. I personally gathered 24 credits for free over two years.

For negatives, there are a few. There is practically no diversity in students, course offerings, or staff. Albany is a very conservative town. I heard stories about a muslim family who moved into town and got threats so they had to leave. In my graduating class, there maybe 7 BIPOC of 132 students. I can't recall a single teacher who wasn't white. As for course offerings, they are great in terms of STEM, but if that isn't what you care about, there is basically only english and history electives. If you are white, this is a great school, otherwise, good luck.

Even though it's a small school in a small town, the tight-knit community is unlike anything you could find anywhere else. There is so much support for all of the school activities and I have never seen a school with so much participation from the students. We are known for being good sports and leaving everything on the field/court/stage/etc. The teachers are devoted to helping their students achieve their academic goals by going above and beyond. I would highly recommend my high school to anyone.
It has a nice small-town feel to it where you can know everyone in your class as well as most of the rest of the school. Even though it is a small school it has a lot of opportunities for earning college credits in high school and being involved. The competitive activities are generally pretty good as well, so there is always a team to cheer for.
