Albany Park Multicultural Elementary School Reviews

This school did not feel like it stretched me as a student. The students and teachers did not seem to develop a closer interaction, but the teachers here do treat the students as their own child. Even though the school did not prepare me as much as it should have for highschool, the subjects and unit that gets touched on were amazing experiences that you can only get here. As far a developing a student the school could do better, but as far as developing a person for the future this school is a nice options since the teachers here are really helpful.

During my time there it all went downhill after 7th grade. The teachers there did not know how to teach and control their students. The only teacher our class actually respected and learned a lot from was Ms. Retamal, our math teacher. However the rest of the staff was a joke. My homeroom teacher, Ms. McVey had no idea how to teach writing/ literature. I remember spending more time watching movies than actually learning anything in her class. I have no idea if the staff that used to work there is still there, but this was a review of my experience at this school.
There are security guards at the entrance, metal detectors, bag xrays, and cameras all over the school. I felt pretty safe.
