My experience with Alamitos Intermediate was not a pleasant one. I was severely bullied to the point where I did not feel safe going to school. I used to have paper balls thrown at me during class and the teacher did nothing about it when I had brought it up to her attention. Although she was a substitute teacher, I did not feel comfortable informing any teacher at all after that. As a young child, it traumatized me. It made me think that no one cared about me, that all the other teachers would react the same. I think that teachers should inform their students that if they ever need help, they can trust them. If the teacher forms that bond with the students first then I believe it could improve the communication and help students overcome difficult situations.

This is a pretty decent school. The fact that was close to us, made it convenient for my siblings and I. The professors were pretty involved in the students development and the try to teach at your own pace.
