I attended alamance christian school 1 year ago. The teachers don’t know what they’re talking about. Education is embarrassing. Christianity is barely talked about with hillariously bad chapel sessions. And a bible class thats down right sad
I liked that it felt like a family, you could go to any teacher and ask for advice or help on anything and they were always willing to help you. The relationships built through team work and the philosophy of Finishing strong and always doing your best helped me grow as an individual.
I have had 6 kids attend Alamance Christian. While no school is perfect, ACS is the best all around school in area. Even though they are the least expensive of all private schools in county, they excel in everything from academics to sports to fine arts. Within the last 6 years students have attended Stanford, Wisconsin, Harvard, Penn State, UNC and NC State just to name a few. Everything is taught from a biblical worldview. Teachers care and are involved with students. Sports teams have won numerous state titles with students playing in college from basketball, soccer, golf, volleyball and baseball. Fine arts have won at the national and state level. They prepare students for the "real" world whether they go to college, military or work force. THANK YOU ACS for investing in my kids.

Alamance is a great school for kids in kindergarten all the way to high school. If you want a good education, Alamance is for you.
Safe environment, locked entry doors, small class sizes.
Drama and fine arts are supurb, art is alive and well there.
Able to text teachers, classes are productive without all the standardized tests.
educated and caring. kids still come back to talk to teachers after graduation
have had 3 kids graduate from hear. one successful married in florida(was in air force): one local, married, successful(graduated college); one in college now. three still in school
school is governed by a board as this school is not controlled by one church. board members are from different backgrounds and churches. administration listens and also has a parent advisory board they meet with to hear new ideas and address problems they might see
Safety is of primary importance to school. All doors are locked and all visitors have to enter front (they have to be buzzed in) after they are registered. School nurse is very knowledgeable and all staff is cpr and first aid certified. Bullying though not a problem is not tolerated and is dealt with quickly if it comes up. I am very comfortable that my children are always safe at ACS
Student body is very organized and does alot of projects for local organizations. Drama dept. puts on plays every year at Paramount Theater. Chem Club is enjoyable but encourages kids to think outside of the box. Journalism does a great job with yearbook.Band and music departments work together to put on top notched programs with all ages. Sports programs include coed shooting teams (2), golf, cross country, boys and girls basketball and soccer, girls volleyball and cheerleading, and boys baseball. Administration supports all extracurricular activities
This school has the best of everything. Known first for academics, they have had graduates attend 5 of top 10 academic universities in U.S. AP classes are available in multiple subject areas. One of the best fine arts departments in state with national award winners. Athletics have state championships in boys basketball, soccer, cross country; girls basketball, soccer; coed golf. Have had athletes sign to play at numerous colleges including D1 schools. Also girls volleyball, boys baseball have finished in top 4 of state numerous times. Coaches even though very knowledgeable are more concerned about individual than wins. Administration is very proactive and have experienced tremendous growth in last 3 years. Preschool is one of the best in the area. Teachers are caring and educated. Tutoring help is given when needed. Started an EC program fall 2014 with 3 full time teachers and separate class rooms.
