My high school experience at ABSS Early Middle College has been very rewarding. The entire experience has been very supportive including the teachers, classes, and opportunities. It has been an amazing experience to take college classes that serve for dual enrollment purposes to earn both your high school diploma along with an Associate's degree. The dual enrollment classes allow you to complete your high school graduation requirements as well as the ability to create a schedule that allows you to attend classes that are in your field of interest. I would highly recommend that rising freshman that are academically inclined consider opportunities such as the ABSS Early Middle College.
As an educational institution, the Alamance-Burlington Middle College is a great place. All of the teachers are very nice and helpful. I truly believe that they want all students to succeed because of the time they put in with each student to make sure that they are on the right track. The teachers and other staff like to get to know the students and truly care for their well-being. Each subject is carefully taught and thoroughly explained. The student population has gotten more diverse as time went on. The school prepares its students for college through its rigorous high school courses. The Early College is really a family, everyone knows each other and I am proud to be a part of it.
ABEC is a wonderful school with great programs and opportunities because it can help someone reach their goals. I am a junior and upcoming senior. I encourage a lot of middle schoolers to apply for early college and seek opportunities that will help their future. Thousands of dollars can be saved and it is worth the struggle. Each day I work hard in order to reach my goal to become a physician assistant. I don’t know what will become of my future from there on forth but I do know that I am working closer to it. If you are looking at taking classes at ACC take the chance. Know what you are about to do and inform yourself of the path that you are taking and how it can help you succeed in life. If it seems like the right path to take, do not allow obstacles to get in your way and work hard to reach your goal.
