A.L.Brown is a pretty good school. The teacher are always willing to help and friendly. All thought my school years I have always had someone to help me if needed and the staff has been quite friendly. The school is always clean, in great condition and not to mention we have recently had a new stem wing 3 stories high added. We have a really good carpentry class and welding class that has done incredible work with great teachers. These classes offer very useful skills that let let students experience different types of fields.
I would like to see more classes like carpentry for example a electrical or bricklaying class.Overall the school its been a really good experience.

A L brown is a very diverse school in a moderately conservative area which created a divide among our students. Often times it felt that student concerns fell on deaf ears, fortunately the school is very accepting and encouraging to student lead programs and events. I loved having the option to get involved with my community and school, and as leadership member of our schools lgbt club, I felt as though I had a fair platform. Kannapolis is a town transforming from a small mill community to a stem focused city which leaves A L Brown in an interesting transition that doesn't properly advocate for students from "old" or "new" Kannapolis; I do believe that in the next 10 years A L Brown will become an amazing school that will prepare students for any career, as it is already setting up useful vocational and stem courses.
I loved how A.L. Brown felt like little families a part of one big family. Sporting events always gathered people together, especially Friday night Football. Go Wonders! Although I loved the atmosphere of the sports, I wish the arts would get more attention. There are so many talented students that don't get enough respect or attention. I applaud them for shining through under the circumstances they work in.
