Airline High school is. A wonderful school! My child has always felt safe and has received excellent academic teaching’s. As a Viking, he’s had many opportunities to be involved in different sprout and activities. He feel’s prepared for college academically by Airline High School, we just have to work out the financial part. We appreciate Niche giving us the opportunity to register to win a scholarship towards my son’s college tuition. We are a working class family of 6. We are trying our best to make this goal happen for our Airline senior.

I attended Airline High School for all four years and have loved every bit of it. Airline offers tons of different opportunities to get involved, like FCA, band, 100 United, Beta club, Drama Club, and so much more. Airline has an organization for every personality type. The Academic experience is second to none, with Airline being rated an A school and sharing the top performing score in the Parish. Airline High School is extremely diverse, having 54% minority enrollment. Throughout my years at Airline, the school has always been extremely spirited. Airline constantly produces interesting ways to improve student enjoyment through creating movies, food trucks at lunch, tournaments, and so much more. Although Airline has great academics as well as involvement opportunities, the school needs to do a better job at educating students on ways to earn college credits in high school, such as CLEP test and dual enrollment with community colleges.
My experience at Airline High School was great in my eyes. The main reasons why include: sports , academics and resources. The extracurricular activities were great because I did Cross Country, Powerlifting and Track. For resources, Airline offered in-demand skills courses such as welding, wood tech, programming/computer science courses and much more through their agreement with Bossier Parish School for Technology and Innovative Learning plus they had Air Force JROTC. Air Force JROTC taught me about potential careers in the military and gave me a taste for what the military is like. For academics the majority of the teachers there performed their jobs adequately and the college courses I was able to take proved beneficial for me.
However, somethings I wished the school changed include: offering more funding for the Cross Country and Track programs, more variety in college dual enrollment courses and perhaps not as much emphasis on AP courses and finally less strict uniform rules.
