For the most part, the Agua Fria High School experience was very good! I loved most of the teachers as they cared about what they were teaching and making sure students can work together and learn in creative ways! The AP classes are astounding for some teachers, but for others, not so much. Some teachers at Agua Fria don't teach too well and thus, it made some students very difficult for them to get A's. In terms of events, this school has some satisfying spirit weeks, special days, dances, sports games, and theater shows! The climate of the school is ehh, some students fight each other and cause drama. I had to hear some horrific events in this case such as a gun scare and a student trying to stab another. For the more accomplishing students that stay out of trouble, it is much better for their life here, especially with the many clubs they can participate in, such as the chess club, book club, Christian club, and more! I'll miss this school when I graduate 100%!

As a four year student at Agua Fria, I've really come to love the atmosphere and the education and clubs that I have had the opportunity to indulge in. The majority of teachers that I have had still communicate with me, from math to Spanish. You can tell who cares and who doesn't. Since it is an older campus (made in 1956) some of the facilities are old and need remodeling (which is currently in process)! Clubs try their best, but administration doesn't care too much about that kind of stuff - they care more about their job in general and academics. Overall, it really is a beautiful school, and I am happy to be here! :D
The motto for Agua Fria is honor first, Win or Lose. This entails that the students remain academic integrity whilst maintaining pride. Agua Fria holds each student accountable and encourages them to follow the motto. It's an impoverish school filled with highly educated teachers and intelligent students. They plan to reinnovate the campus with new, modern buildings. So far, they have the Owl Cafe built and it's the greatest new building to be built on campus. More space to eat, new places to sit, chargers!!! It's been a blast being at Agua Fria for the 3 years that I have gone.
