I'm an Immigrant and I'm new to this nation. In the beginning, I arrived in New Jersey and stayed for six months. Over there, I didn't like the schooling system. I didn't like how people were interacting with new students. I was bullied by a couple of students and got depressed. I wanted to commit suicide but at the right time, we changed our location. Thereafter, I came to Illinois and started my schooling from my freshman year in Addison Trail. The school feels like I'm a part of a family/home. This schools supports and encourages everyone to grow and succeed. Students and Teachers are really nice to each other. Whenever I have doubts or confusion, they are always willing to help. I feel really comfortable.

Addison Trail High School was a school where something new happened each day. Some days it was very quiet with no students roaming the halls while on other days there were many fights. The staff was friendly, but in four years a lot of my teachers never had the same lunch break as me causing me to have a difficult time getting help. When they did have a break, there would me a lot of other students getting help as well. Although, I am proud to be called a Blazer!
I really appreciated what the school offered me in order for me to develop further in my education as well as my athletics, but some of the staff acts very unprofessionally. My own personal experience was with some of the gym coaches spreading rumors about students, which should never be happening. Also like most high schools they very much favorite activities to fund such as football and basketball, but programs like wrestling and gymnastics do not get the same funding. My biggest problem is that they do not allow for everyone to be involved in the school activities and not enough information is provided to the student body and I feel that is a problem because you want others to feel as though they can be included. Overall, my high school experience was ok, but it definitely could have been better.
