Achievement First Hartford Academy Reviews
Rating 3.79 out of 5 63 reviews
My experience at achievement first was average. The academics were to the level of getting us prepared for college, until everything just started to hit below minimum standard. The teachers are split who actually care to those who just want a check. The staff who hold a more powerful our selective to the amount of help that is given out. When I first started there weren’t many problems, now there is just a lot that needs to be sorted and settled. Communication is something they need to definitely better their school.
I've been at Achievement First Hartford Academy since kindergarten. I've always loved the classes and lessons being taught, and the extracurricular activities the offered. Overall, growing up and going through each grade I developed my circle of friends and created bonds that hopefully last a lifetime.
I have been with Achievement First for twelve years, since first grade. As a Senior, reflecting back over the years, there have been many extensive changes to make progress, which in a numerous occasions have been successful, but sometimes a failure. Academically, Achievement First has been very successful, claimed by CT as the 3rd best high school in the state. However, the behavior structure is disorganized with behavior specialists that claim they do their job, when all they do is play on their phones and yell at students, students get in trouble for the most unnecessary reasons, the list goes on from what you can think of.
