Achieve is possibly the best school ever and gives students such a successful outcome and opportunity. Having the chance to not graduate with a high school diploma but also having the opportunity to take college credit hours and courses at South Texas College and being able to graduate with an Associate’s degree is absolutely a blessing. It helps not only the students be able to be ahead in their education but help out families with saving money especially those in need. My experience at my school was one of the best ones yet, it being a small school really helped in being a 1:1 ratio when needed. The staff and teachers knew all the students and with that said really helped each of us individually being able to be the best students we could be to our abilities and pushed me to succeed. Without them and this very special program I would not be the person I am today.

My experience at achieve early college high school was unique since achieve is a high school that lets students do two years of college while being in high school. Most students might not like the idea of this since any regular student wants to go through the "normal high school experience", and although I did not go through that, I would say this experience was way better than the normal high school experience. Achieve is a school for certain students (each class has about 100 some students) who outrank normal high school students in intelligence. Since we take college classes while taking our high school classes, it makes us think outside the box. Though yes achieve could be stressful, they reward us with letting us get out early of school (obviously with certain requirements) . I could easily say the best thing that I could've done during my high school years was attending achieve, its what made me to what I am today, an intelligent and determined student.
At Achieve Early College High School, you get many learning opportunities and advantages.
One of them being how Achieve prepares you for higher education. At Achieve, we take dual enrollment courses at an actual college campus and at high school. This alone helps students mentally prepare for what college has in-store for incoming freshman. After attending college classes for four years, I am familiar with how professors work and what criteria they have, in addition, I know how to modify my schedule to fit my needs due to having a counselor in high school explaining everything. As a plus to all of this, you get to graduate with an associates and all the textbooks and class fees are covered, which can help parents save some money. Although Achieve has a lot of benefits,I would like for them to add more sports. At the end, any parents considering to register their child for Achieve should do it. Both the student and parent will benefit in their own ways.
