The Academy provides the perfect atmosphere for development of the whole person. Aside from academics there are many opportunities for campus leadership, participation in athletics, community service, and even for participation in foreign and domestic academic exchange programs. All of this is provided in a unique rural setting, removed from the bustle of day to day life. It’s quiet, beautiful, serene surroundings are second to none. The school draws day students from many neighboring communities as well as draws boarding students from around the country and internationally. Also unique is its nationally competitive equestrian hunt seat program, through which students have the option of riding horses in place of regular PE. Riding for fun is an option in addition to competitive riding. This school is a wonderful choice for forming young women into well rounded women of faith, character, and intellect!
I am a current student at Academy of the Sacred Heart and feel as if my experience here has built me to be the strong confident woman I am today. The single gender education has allowed for personal growth and promoted strong sincere bonds with girls throughout the entire school. The academics are challenging and I feel I will be very prepared for college and life in general. I am so grateful to be enrolled at Sacred Heart, and thank my parents for sacrificing so much!
We have been so pleased with this school. The academics are top notch but the nurturing environment is world class. You can learn anywhere but Sacred Heart develops well rounded, confident, respectful young women of faith.
