Since 1856, Notre Dame's commitment to teaching young women “what they need to know for life” has remained unchanged. Graduates are confident women with the skills to succeed in the nation’s most competitive colleges and prepared to lead in a global society.

Notre Dame is a community guided by the faith tradition of the Catholic Church, the service of the Sisters of Notre Dame, and the Academy’s Honor Code.

All students receive an Apple MacBook Air. With a successful online education protocol, the Academy is ready to transition seamlessly to virtual learning.

The Center for Global Leadership links students to schools around the world. A progressive study of World Languages begins in grade six and continues through AP.

Upper school students deepen their academic experience as a STEM, Global, or Arts Scholar.

Dance, fine and performing arts, music, athletics, campus ministry, and clubs give every student the opportunity to explore her unique gifts.

ND has already impressed both me and my family ever since coming this year. I came from a school that had limited academic option, and ND had been the opposite! The new STEM building and programs that are being implemented are quite impressive, and it shows how much they want to invest in STEM! They also put an emphasis on the arts. The laptops each student get are also extraordinarily helpful or keeping up to date. Freshmen have the most limited options in courses for their first years, but there are still many different courses you can take in language and math. All other classes have honors options, which you must test into or be recommended for. Coming to ND was the best choice of my life because it is a place where academics are extremely valued but are never put onto a student in a way that harms them. I have already grown so much and I am already dreading graduation!

Notre Dame is a school filled with many eminent educational and athletic opportunities for its students. However, the lack diversity has caused myself and other students to feel uncomfortable. The administration and teacher’s inability to support students who complain about racial ignorance is ridiculous. This school makes no effort to recognize racism or even to appreciate the cultures of its minorities. It instead tries to silence those who complain about it and uplift or just simply look the other way when it comes to those who perpetuate it. As a student that attends the Academy of Notre Dame, I seriously advise you to think twice about letting your child attend here (especially if she is of a minority) because this school reeks of white privilege.
Beautiful campus and the teachers really care about how you are doing. They’re very committed to the success of their students. Diversity is definitely lacking and I feel as though sometimes students don’t have enough support from the counseling department. Nothing has happened yet, but if something ever did, it would be because the counseling department doesn’t take things seriously. However I feel as though the bond between classes is very strong, and the sisterhood at ND is much better than other local all girls schools. You still have your extremely wealthy girls and girls that are maybe not, but everyone is able to get along for the most part.
