The Academy of Medical Arts (AMA) has served a significant role on my journey to become a Registered Nurse. With the persistence of both teachers and students, we successfully established yearly interactive activities and projects that are academically challenging yet stimulating for all grades. These propositions gave me opportunities to be involved in a series of events such as: Health Expositions, Health Occupations Students of America, and volunteer at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. However, the main quality that needs improvement is the number of staff members. This proposal could enhance the student's learning experience through the expansion of tutoring sessions and would regulate the teacher to student ratio. Through AMA, I was educated on an abundant of careers within the medical field, found a community with like-minded and ambitious individuals, in addition to obtaining and strengthening techniques that can be applied to my ongoing journey as a future health professional.

I love the Academy of Medical Arts for allowing me to strive to reach my full potential and providing an environment that would allow me to do so. While attending this school, I was able to join the campuses sports and clubs, in addition to the exclusive club, Health Occupations Students of America. This club is only open to the academy's students and has inspired a love for the medical field that I will pursue in the future. The teachers offer a lot of support and are very concerned for their students.
Academy of Medical Art is a very welcoming school and has a safe environment. The teachers and staff are very friendly and take the time out of their day to make sure you are doing well and on the right track. The principal gets along very well with the students. This Academy is open to everyone who desires to go here. My peers are very friendly and very optimistic. It is a very small school, therefore, it is very easy to know most students on campus. I took part in extracurricular activities and AP classes. They are very supportive and I definitely enjoyed my time spent here.
