Really teaches students to take control and be responsible of their own education! The staff truly cares about each student’s development and future, and they make it easier to graduate for kids who need alternative schooling-methods.

They helped me find my skills for public speaking! The staff really care about each student's experience, and they're very kindhearted people.
What I liked about the Academy of Arts and Academics was the educational and artistic opportunities. We were given many opportunities for internships with local businesses, team work with local artists on community projects, college level classes and community outreach. What I would like to see change is the school dynamic. It often felt too competitive or falsely prestigious.
