I love my school! It is definitely unique in how we go about certain circumstances. One of the main points is bullying. In my school bullying has rarely ever happened. It was one of my biggest fears going into highschool and seeing how I saw everyone in the whole school being nice to each other, it was certainly a sight to behold. The teachers as well are amazing at what they do. connecting with students and making education something fun, rather than a hassle. In my time at AACT I can say that without it, my life would be drastically different.
Currently, I am a junior and have been attending the Academy of Arts, Careers, and Technology for three years. The school provides countless interactive projects and opportunities that provide students with real world experience in whatever field they want to go into. This helps prepare students for whatever career they want to have. There is seven academies: Medical, business, culinary, agriculture, communication and arts, engineering, and education. I am in the business academy and have learned an incredible amount about project management, marketing, and the professional world as whole. We have amazing teachers, a small but close knit community of about 600 students, and the perfect amount of homework. I highly recommend AACT for any student who knows what they want out of their high school experience, has an idea about what career they want, and who desires to have real world experience that will continually help them to achieve their goals.
