It’s a small (300 students at most) magnet public high school that will prepare you to further your education towards a career in the medical sciences. It’s a National Blue Ribbon School several times already with the latest being in 2018.

Great teachers that are willing to go out of their way to make sure you succeed. Amazing principal & office staff! Smaller teacher/student ratios & you will get to know everyone. It’s a career academy with a rigorous curriculum that will definitely prepare you for college. You can graduate with college credits. I will graduate come June 2020 & I would make the choice to attend AAHS all over again. I will be pursuing a future in medicine and AAHS has given me the perfect foundation to build upon. I am grateful for the many opportunities that AAHS provides their students. From hospital rotations to community-based partnerships, and mentorship, Thank You! I would highly recommend the Academy of Allied Health & Science, Neptune.

If you get in, you probably feel accomplished and excited. Just know that everyone who goes to Allied is just as smart and at least as motivated as you are. In fact, a lot of students have their lives and careers planned out in detail. Nobody gets by on their intelligence. You have to work hard every day. You won’t have the same high school experience as your friends outside of Allied. But, you will be prepared for college. And, if you have a sense of humor, you will find plenty of things to laugh at... for instance, gym!
I am a senior right now and I have to say, I wouldn't want my high school education to be in any other school and that's EVEN after I'm pursuing a future in Computer Engineering. Even when I realized that the medical profession wasn't for me, this school still went above and beyond to help me build my resume for this future. Sure there are some good and bad teachers, but there are far more amazing teachers than bad ones. I love this school and I recommend it to anybody hoping to apply soon. Good luck!
