The school has huge building that has two floors that each has there own gym, on the two floors their are many classroom that are mostly big in size & their are two great computer rooms with many up to date Apple p.c.'s. Also the quality of the school building is near great & the guidance counselors are knowledgeable, helpful, caring, & usually their for student who need them.
The college prep resources are abundant & is their for student who would like to use the resources & the tutoring is great because usually Monday-Thursday, teachers stay after school for student who need help in the; subject that they are teaching. About the parent involvement & busing that information is unknown by me.
Review Academy for Social Action: A College Board School
Most students in my school do not like to get involved in sports or clubs and organizations. There is softball that i was involved in and there is also boys' basketball. But some adults tried to start a stepping club and also track and field but not enough students were involved so they canceled it.
As far as the extracurricular opportunities at the Academy For Social Action(A.S.A.) goes since the school's beginning in (2007) the school extracurricular opportunities have increase over the years from going from very little extracurricular activities to having many different extracurricular opportunities. For example A.S.A. has a sport club boy's basketball team, a sport club girl's softball team & a digital media production club. Also their is a book club; for each of these clubs the students of A.S.A. give an incredible amount commitment & the most popular club in the school is the boy's basketball team. Also the administration support for all of these clubs are amazing & caring.
