I go here it is awesome! Everyone is so welcoming and is very kind and I already have a ton of friends. Curriculum is tough, but worth it, and you are still able to do out of school activities. Staff and Admins are amazing and genuinely care about the students education. There is a wide array of after-school clubs including but not limited to: Drama Club, Book Club, Sci-Fi Club, First Lego League, Math Counts, Science Quiz Bowl, and Band. Do note that the only sport they have is Middle School Cross-Country but you are able to participate in sports in your district. Overall, if you are a New Hampshire resident I would totally recommend going to ASD.
ASD is an amazing school. The kids are just kinder, the classes are fun and challenging and the teachers really go above and beyond to help make everyone successful! There are any clubs and activities outside of school as well. So glad that my kids are there.
My experience here was full of ups and downs. Mostly downs. If you want your child to have a mental capacity please don't send them here. If your child shows less interest in academics, please don't torture them here. I, myself, started off with a 10:30 pm bedtime, which went to 11:15 during the second semester, and then 3 am during the last 3 weeks of school. This was only middle school. High schoolers probably don't even sleep anymore. One major part of this school to talk about, are the walls. I know more about the 11th-grade history class rather than the 8th-grade history class I was meant to listen to because of the lack of walls. You don't get any social time. Lunches are split into 3 lunches, so what are the chances of you getting lunch with your friends. Only the amazing 8th-grade Spanish teacher, Ms. Mainzer, pulled us through the torture year. The 4 stars are ONLY because of the cool teachers and amazing friends I have made at this school. These teachers need to be paid more
