AAHS is very nice. If you are looking to go into the medical field, this high school is perfect. While most teachers are nice, there are a few bad apples. Plus, a few teachers teach things that they aren't qualified to teach. You also get certified in CPR and First Aid, which is beneficial for any job. The school itself is filled with nice people and is very strict when it comes to anti-bullying measures. It's also very, very safe. While it doesn't have sports besides intramurals, the funds not spent on sports is used towards other things, from keeping the building clean and safe to fun events, such as the big Relay for Life event we have once a year. There are people from a variety of backgrounds, which we and other schools on campus celebrate the cultures of on AHA day. They are very good at helping students prepare for college, from helping with college essays to having you take a Financial Literacy course. All in all, this is still a pretty great high school.

Other than the students (they are awkward but nice), everything here is great! The academics are rigorous and challenging, and you can tell every student cares deeply about their grades. However, only come here if you have a strong interest in the medical field that you want to stick with; your time will be miserable if you are not interested.
Choosing to attend AAHS is the best decision I have ever made. As a senior, I have grown to be close friends with students from Rahway, Clark, Cranford, and Roselle Park, just to name a few. These are superlative people who I otherwise would never have the opportunity to meet. My experience at Allied Health has been wonderful thanks to my classmates and the extraordinary faculty and administration. The principal, the guidance counselors, and the teachers are all passionate about seeing the students thrive here. They are invested in our success.

The Academy for Allied Health Sciences has offered me tremendous opportunities to explore the different avenues available in health care and understand the future of medicine.
