ABLE provides many opportunities for students to become their best self. The teachers really care about their students and truly wish for their students to succeed. The worst part of my experience is having to get to know everyone again because of COVID, but it all worked out at the end. It's a small school so everyone knows each other, which is why I believe that was the best parts of my experience at this school. I would love to see change in the rigorous class available like AP classes. Overall, I enjoyed the memories made here!
My favorite part out this school is how diverse it is. I enjoy how much the school staff truly do their best to ensure a positive environment for the students. However, some parts that I would like to see a change in is the amount of opportunities in the school.
ABLE has been great to me. The only reason its not 5 stars is because of the lack of AP and Honors classes. My teachers are incredible and staff is amazing. I couldn't imagine a better school experience.
It is a great school with a good environment which is why it gets 4 stars but it is a small school and lacks sports and togetherness. We rarely have rallies, games to attend, or anything larger high schools have. The school spirit is virtually not there.
They are really good at making sure that you get into a good college, especially the one you want. The counselors are also really focused on trying to help students get free money for school so they don't have to stress as much.
It has been a good experience regarding the studies. The teachers that I got were awesome and super helpful. The whole staff is very supportive and is ready to help at any time. The only thing that I wish would change is getting help with the dual enrolment transfer credits.
My experience at Humphreys college Academy has always been very good I feel like that it is a very great school with small population. I am so happy that my parents put me into this school because I have learned great things from this school. Teachers are more focused on you because the classroom size is very small and good for students to learn and become a successful person. To all the upcoming highs school or middle school who doesn't know where to start a better education then come to school and i am sure you will do good. In my opinion there is nothing that they need to change in the school because I feel everything is good the way it is. One thing i can say is maybe to add more teachers because sometime we are short on teachers for some of classes and that's just what i think because again everyone got there own say and perspective. To all the students who are interested in law that definitely look into Humphreys because they have great law careers that you can pursue.
This school is awesome! The teachers were very kind, supportive, and imformative. The school environment was very comfortable and diverse. The students are also very nice and are willing to help anyone.
I liked how most teachers did care about the students grades and tried to help them. Most teachers were nice but some were too involved into the student's lives.
Humphrey's ABLE Charter is a pretty decent school. The teachers there are very helpful and make themselves available to your educational needs. All the students work on electronic devices and the common core work is not difficult.
I like how small the school is which allows for more one on one action. The teachers here are also very caring and supportive of your education. If I had to improve one thing, it would be to make the curriculum a bit more rigorous and to allow a challenge for those who need it.
Humphreys college academy is a good school for students and parents who prefer smaller sized schools with a great community. overall the school isn't too bad but isn't as large or resource full as regular noncharter high schools
Humphreys College Academy of Business Law & Education, or ABLE, is a charter school located in Stockton, CA. One unique quality about this school is it's size, and if you are not looking for a big school environment, which I wasn't, then it will be an enjoyable experience. However, it's size can be it's strength or weakness, depending on the type of student. If you are looking for big hyped up sports games, crazy dances and parties, school spirit, etc, then this is not the school for you. If you are into the small school scene, you will find a sense of community within the school and build some strong relationships. I met some of the best people I have ever had the privilege of knowing, and the admin truly cares about the students, considering that there is so little of us. Great people along with unique classes and experiences make ABLE what it is.
Missing a lot of basic high school experiences: homecoming, football games, rallies, powder puff, traditions, clubs, lockers, etc. The lunch is pretty bad. They've given out expired carrots and milk before. Some teachers were pretty bad. I've had friends tell me that they got yelled at and there are clearly favorites. I even heard that middle schoolers don't get a promotion but somehow kinder gardeners do??? My friend had a math class where all they did was khan academy assignments. There are better schools in Stockton.
Humphreys College Academy of Business Law and Education is a growing elementary and high school that supports kids from a variety of different backgrounds. As a technology-based school, Humphreys offers college courses for high school students to get ahead and a vast array of different subjects that fits any students' needs.
I had a great four year high school experience at Humphreys College Academy (ABLE Charter). The teachers and staff are very supportive. Also, the academic material pushes students to their limits.
Attending Humphreys College Academy of Business Law and Education has been unique. I love how classroom sizes average at about 20 students giving students the ability to really connect with teachers. One thing I would like to see change would be the campus itself. They have put a lot of effort and money into expanding the campus but it hasn't been done yet.
