I have had wonderful professors who have been very dedicated to ensuring my success both in the program and as a future professional. The best part of my experience has been working alongside other students and professors who are like-minded and share similar values and aspirations. The worst parts of my experience so far have been difficulties securing an internship placement and technical problems with online courses that caused my class to fall behind.
I recently was accepted to Winthrop University. From the very start I knew I could see myself there. The student success center and recruiters are amazing! When I was reached out my phone I did not feel like I was being pressured to attend Winthrop and that they actually valued my time. I cannot wait to start my journey!
The professors have communicated really well with expectations of students. They get assignments graded relatively quickly. Only complaint would be the rubrics for my research class. They were not very detailed and I was unsure about what was actually be graded.
