Winthrop University Reviews

I am applying to WU for my MSW degree. So far the experience has been great! I can only speak for the social work department as far as my experience. They are extremely nice and go above and beyond to help. I have had family graduate from WU and they loved it there. I can't wait to get started at WU for my Masters!

Academics at Winthrop have been challenging with a lot of reading and writing, but with each new assignment I’ve learned more and polished my writing skills more.
As a graduate student in the online program, I think communication is the key. Communication has been difficult and it has been a little discouraging. Overall, it seems to be a great school. It could just be the online sector that is lacking.
