Wichita State University Reviews

As far as cost is concerned, Wichita State University is great. I live in Kansas, so I get in-state tuition, and as a grad student I could not imagine paying for out-of-state tuition. Unfortunately, that's the only thing that I super enjoy about WSU. The specific grad program that I am in is currently going through a lot of changes and unfortunately I feel as if the current students in the program are really getting the short end of the stick so that future students can benefit. New professors, new curriculum, new organization, so much stuff is new, and it is just really frustrating. I think the program will be able to re-build itself and it will be a really solid program in the next couple of years. But right now, there aren't a lot of things I enjoy about the WSU Grad program that I am currently enrolled.

My overall experience as a graduate student at WSU has been phenomenal! I would love to see tuition be a little less for out of state residents, though and to offer more fellowships.
In the 2 years that I have been at WSU I have met some amazing professors, faculty, and peers. I feel like my concerns are heard and I can set time to meet with my professors if I need more guidance. They also have great student support services to help ensure students can succeed.
